Background: Reginald was born to Robert and Dorene Noir, and was always "doted" on for being the youngest of two brothers. Robert and Dorene were very well off, and only wanted the best of the best for their children. Reginald's older brother, Severin, was the "heir" of the family fortune, and was always the "first child" in many situations. Both Noir children found themselves starving for their parents attention, and were very competetive. Severin was good at sports, Reginald was good at school. Severin was good at performing, Reginald was good at creating. Despite their competetive tendancies, the Noir brothers got along quite well, at first, and had a very refined upbringing. They attended a private school, and only associated with the best lineage in town. One could call the family a bit elitist. When Severin befriended a lower class African American, he began questioning his parents ways. He became very outspoken and angry at his parents, who were very demanding. He ran away when he turned 17, and was "exiled" from the family, making Reginald the heir. Reginald was torn between his parents and his brother. He loved Severin, and wanted to follow after him because he, too, questioned his parents reasonings. But on the other hand, he was afraid he wouldn't make it on his own. He felt pressured by his family, and caved in to their ways, shunning his brother in public and trying his best to impress his parents.

Reginald never made many friends at school, because he always had his brother. This proved tumultuous when Severin ran away, and Reginald became very reclusive and lonely. He met Darcy, a bright and spunky girl from a poor family in West Haven, at a park where he was moping. Darcy knew of Reginald's family and their reputation, and was determined to build a bridge between them and the "real world". She was also a friend of Severin's and became a link between the two brothers. Reginald and Darcy had a love/hate relationship, but became close nonetheless. Their friendship was always in secret. They left letters for each other in secret places, or only talked over the internet. They never spoke by phone. Darcy hated the fact that their relationship was a secret, but Reginald seemed to experience some very severe anxiety when pressured to do the right thing.

Personality: Reginald is blessed with natural talent. He is very talented accademically and artistically, and has a keen interest in production. Before being admitted to Cherry Hollow, Reginald was studying cinematography at Southern Connecticut State University. He is very likeable, and very adaptive to nearly any situation. Reginald's biggest weakness is giving in to the persuasion of others.

Interests: Reginald is interested in glory. His intrests follow suit as Art, Academics, striving to be the best and most loved member of his family.

Likes: Being wealthy, Being Mother's favorite, Attention, reading, sitting on the porch swing in the evening hours, lazy mornings, attention from teachers, valuable and notable objects, family heirlooms (he collects these), alchemy, etc.

Dislikes: Unworthy people, Severin (but only when he has to), Being overshadowed by his classmates, trying to figure out what girls are thinking, not being noticed, not living up to Mother's high expectations...

Pet Peeves: Severin (when he makes Mother mad). Severin's friends. Any of Severin's achievements. Girls paying Severin attention. The fact that Beverly is related to him and therefore not available to him.

Guilty Pleasures: Writing romantic short stories, kittens, poetry, intrest from girls.

Bad Habits: When he's not recieving utmost attention, Reginald tends to get irritable and anxious, and on the rare occasion, panicky. This causes him to do drastic things. Additionally, he has a disgusting addiction to candy canes, and occasionally bites his nails when he is nervous.
